I am looking to mount some 7" LED projectors in my '16 Patriot. I have seen the video on disassembly of the housing for the headlights as that seems to be the only way to manage it, but does anyone have experience with it that I may be able to bounce some ideas off of? I plan on taking pictures and posting them write up when I do it for the sake of others on here.

No help with that, but I do know https://valkyrieoffroad.com/ is prototyping headlight adapters that will allow an easy 7" headlight install.
Not sure when they will finally be ready for prime time.
