Hello, my name is Heather from VA, and I am the proud owner of a 08 Jeep Patriot. I saw them online when I was researching what kind of car to trade our Silverado in on and fell in love! I call her the little sister of the commander, they look so much alike. I had owned a 4x4 toyota back in 96, and I really missed the compact size and easy drivability of the smaller vehicles. We went to test drive a patriot and came home with it! I like a very basic ride, and my husband was convinced we would never find one. I wanted roll up windows, manual transmission, plain seats, an a\c and cd player. The patriot we found was all that, plus white (my favorite car color). The only drawback is it is a 2 wheel drive, and I was wanting a 4x4, but for the price we got it at we couldn't turn it down. I love driving it and it reminds me a lot of my toyota I had to sell when we had kids. I want to make it into a pre-runner if possible, but we can't find anything for Jeep Patriots. Does anyone know of any stores that make and sell pre-runner parts for patriots? Thanks either way. Look forward to talking to everyone!
