Nice tires. I was gonna buy KM2s for my Wrangler but went with Duratrac instead for the snow.

Oh man, I'll have pictures from every angle! haha.

The rims are 16x7", 4x4.5" bolt pattern with 4" backspacing. everything should be good to go (thanks to all the previous posts). And the Jeep dealership is pretty stoked to see the final product as well!

I believe everything shows up at the end of next week, I'll hopefully have everything installed same day!

 

Just got a call from the wheel guys... The damn wheels will be in 4-6 weeks, tires come in next week still! Ugh!

Yeah I actually tried to order some from them and they didn't have our 16x7" 5x4.5" ones in. I had my inspiration on wheels from you Heckler. I was concerned about duty and such on shipping wheels across the boarder (i'm in Victoria, BC) so I stuck with a local shop who charged $90/ea for my wheels.

 

how much is the total with rims, installation and taxes. I'm in parksville and I am looking for a winter/wheeling set of tires and rims. Also the shop name. We should also find some more jeeppartiot members to go wheeling on the island.

did you get a full sized spare? Something to think about.

 

Temporarily I'm going to have a random rim/tire that fits my needs that I'll use as my spare. It's definitely on my list of things to get though, it'd look sick in a bucket on the roof.

 

why 16x7s and not 16x8s. Just curious.

 

less weight, closer to stock size.

I only got 8" wide because I found them used cheap.

 

Same tire I had on my Compass. GREAT traction, but a bit too noisy for my liking on pavement. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone with the A/T's. Also, I went with the 225/75R15's for a bit taller and narrower look.

Ya buddy, figured they would be noisy but they would have sure come in handy this weekend on my surf adventure! haha. I figure my solution to the road noise will be a quick tune up... TURN THE TUNES UP! wooooh! I didn't buy the extra stereo for nothing!

 

The tire size i chose only allowed for a 16x7 rim, I would have had to make a big tire size jump to fit a 16x8.

Tires showed up! Rims are still not here, ugh! I may go and visit the tires after work today... I'll report back.

Hi,
Are you putting those on a stock Patriot? They will look great on whatever you put them on! If they don't give you any problems then I'll have to note the size, etc. and think about something like that when I need tires, only got 5K on my showroom stock tires.

 

Yea it's a stock Jeep... I'll be adding the RRO lift eventually but as for now it's all origional. I'll be sure to post up pics and all the specs!

 

Crappy quality photo, but here's a teaser of the Jeep! It only took 6 weeks to get the damn rims! haha. So worth the wait though... Better photos will be posted tonight.

Here's a clearer picture.

There is slight rubbing when I'm in full lock and in reverse, but it was barely anything. The LT235/70/R16's seem to be the perfect fit!!

Next will be the RRO Lift, which will just make the vehicle look even meaner... Stoked.
