Hello Just bought a 2011 patriot 4x4 5 speed.. Sure like the look of it and is very comfy to drive.. The softer touch interior is real nice.. I liked the lower price for a nice SUV.. Has anyone installed a hitch on a 2011? The plastic cover on the back comes down farther that the older ones.. Have seen the installation video on the 2010..

I haven't seen any 2011's here install a hitch. There's only a couple of you, so far.
I would think the hitch folks would know, you could always call and ask the dealer, U-Haul, or maybe Curt and see what they say.

Have you tried to e-mail etrailer.com or jcwhitney? I'm sure any of those folks over there will help you out and answer any of your hitch quetions. As dixie said, there are only handful of you with 2011s and we don't have much info yet.
