Hi all, found a Jeep Patriot "Sahara Edition" on the web pages of the dealer wehere I bought my Pat. He`s been offering it for several months now but probably can`t sell it, in spite of a big discount, due to the recession and folks holding on to their money.
Just thought I`d post the pictures to see if anyone has seen a Pat in this mod and how you like it :D

Hmmmm... Like the idea, but that particular photo's colors don't look good. Reminds me of the FJ Cruisers you see with the mountains on the side, perhaps I should to the Rocky Mountain Edition?!?!? Bumper definitely stands out.

I got approval to do our bumper, but the side is "tacky" according to the co-owner of my Pat.

Ugh! I can see why the dealer hasn't been able to sell it. Why would anyone want to ruin a perfectly good Patriot like that? I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

wtf. its horrible. Im trying to take stickers off

Not a fan of it on THAT color Jeep, but 'maybe' a Khaki, White or even a Red Rock one...if they would ever offer it.

I noticed the lack of a 4X4 nameplate too. Sahara and 4X4 just go together..:smiley_thumbs_up:

It doesn`t have the 4x4 plate at the back (don`t know why), but it is a 4x4. It`s exactly the same as mine bought 5 months ago but with the Sahara stickers and 3.000 Euro (almost 4.000 USD) cheaper! Grrrr ...

can def see why its not sold.. terrible idea..

Tacky, Looks Cheap & Cheerful---- I would rather have a good Woody Kit!!

Czech customers are clearly sensible customers. In a part of the world that gets Czech winters, if you bought a four-by-four you'd be looking at the function, not the form, wouldn't you?
This is the kind of thing that makes me think that Chrysler have finally lost it. Why on earth would a Czech customer pay out extra money for ornaments and art-work and not be offered the chance to buy FDII? Up in the High Tatra they get winters like our Canadian friends. What additional use would all that Surf-City stuff convey?

I think this is a dealer special.

Strangely, I think the sand dunes sticker is kinda cool looking, but not on a car.

i think that if it just had different rims and tiers and FDII it wouldn't be so bad, maybe evan a roof basket with lights to make it more of a safari looking jeep. but that sticker is too much. i would never drive something like that.

eeeeek. i like the look of my patriot much better :D

I was hoping this would be a Patriot in, sand or olive, with flat black trim. Perhaps larger tires and a factory roof basket. But I guess not.......

I wonder who cut the vinyl? Now that same thing in wood grain might be a whole different look. Hmmmmmmmmm

i like your thinking jepstr67 it would be like a Patriot Wagoneer

BTW, that dealer will be coming out with Jeep Patriot "Rubicon" Edition, 24 Hours "Dakar"
Edition, & the "Cairo to Peking/Beijing" Edition this spring. All with front wheel drive & hand crank windows.

Seriously?

I like my crank windows, but so many do not, that as a dealer I would hesitate ordering cars without power windows just on speculation.

looks like a piece of sh*t!!! if they really wanted to do a sahara edition, they needed to use some Sahara-like color schemes used on the Jeep Wrangler Sahara. try green and tan...

so use the Jeep Green color, then throw on some tan bumper appliques OR tan door guard appliques. at least at something to mimic the color schemes of the Wrangler Sahara models.

again, i can't believe the dealer ruined a Patriot with that atrocious body paint
