I have just been looking around the site and noticed the Patriots in America & other countries seem to be having a few of these recalls and TSB notices for problems on them.

But for some reason when I call the Jeep Customer Helpline in the UK, they tell me there are none for UK cars.

Do they use different parts on the european models for the suspension etc, as I am suffering lots of problems with the from of my car from the suspension and brakes but they say there is nothing wrong with it.

Also does anyone know if all the patriots are built at the same factory or do the european models get built somewhere else.

Thanks for any advice

I just had my 08 in the dealer for an oil change, and to get some touch-up paint. I asked about any TSB' and to check the front end. They said nothing on the TSB's and the front end was good, all tight, no issues. I had no problems, but some folks here have had some issues, so thought they should check. I'm over 42,000 miles. Was a new dealer for me too, so they did the oil change for $10, so $20 total for the oil change and touch-up paint, not too bad.

i drive a 09 crd.i live in romania and greece.
i bought it in romania, and i servic e itin romania.excellent dealer and service,by the way.
i printed the tsb's from this forum after i downloaded them and selected the ones involving my vehicle.
i showed them to the dealer and asked about them.
he typed into the comupter and showed me my service file.
they have executed all of those (three by the way) on my visits for service.
so i guess your guys just don't know or maybe just don't care.
try asking someone competent there.i seriously doubt a correct dealer would ignore tsb"s or recalls. (no recall for mine,by the way).

hey can i get a list of the tsb's? will they be the same for me here in the US? I also thought the Jeeps that are exported to you guys are assembled in your own countries. I thought the only ones that were assembled here were the ones that didn't need to be shipped overseas.

The exports are made in the US and assembled at the Chrysler assembly plant in Belvidere Illinois.

That list is out of date. I was in to the dealer today to get my tires rotated and they updated (flashed) the TIPM. It didnt fix the problem with the Sirius Travelink, like we hoped, but it DID reset all my EVIC functions back to factory default. PIA! They said there was a TSB on the TIPM.
