Hello everyone,
I just bought a Jeep Patriot Limited 2.0 CRD ,2008 UK/EUROPEAN MODEL

I need to fit it with some new brake discs&pads,
With a new starter motor,
And I would also like to replace some oils (engine and gearbox)&filters (oil, fuel, air, pollen).

But the most difficult problem I'm facing is that nowhere I can find the parts numbers of this model, and the main local dealers & Mopar are completely useless when it's about helping and offering infos.

Is there any catalogue available with the part numbers of various parts for this specific model?
I face great difficulties in choosing the right brake discs and pads on a website which sells EBC parts.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

hi and welcome to the forum!

i drive a 2009 2.0crd,and i can tell you it's a great vehicle.
you have plenty of parts on ebay.co.uk
i bought lots of stuff there.
another place is jeepchryslerparts.co.uk,great shop.
and you can always but stuff from the states.
engine related parts you can also get from vw shops,as the engine is vw audi bkd type.
so plenty places to shop.
send me your email and i'll send you a parts catalogue in pdf

good luck

Hello again.

@goguadi - It seems that I have no way to contact you privately and to let you have my email address on this website. So maybe you can let me have yours if you can send me a private message and I will reply. Thank you

Can anyone recommend any brake discs and pads other than EBC ? I am not looking for the best ( most expensive ), but not the poorest quality either.

Should I go for Mopar engine oil and gearbox oil, or is there something better on the market ?
Thanks guys !

get generic cabin/air filters - originals not worth the extra cost

do get very good quality oils - engine oil is vw spec 507.00 and the correct other fluids

brakes - get a brand name, they are fine

shop around for the starter motor - the jeep one is expensive, but a generic one will be fine - why do you need one?

Thanks Harold. Would Mobil 1 engine oil 5w30 be alright ? ( they say that it is vw 507 - but they don't say anything about being longlife ). There's also Castrol SLX Longlife III ( which has this vw 507 specification).

I have just been at a local Jeep dealer and strangely they said that they don't even know how much oil the car takes, as Chrysler fusioned with Fiat and there's an entire mess.
Thanks

I just found Qantum longlife 3 5w 30 engine oil so I will go for it immediately I will have your approval as people who know better :D. Bare with me as I'm learning! !!

About brake discs&pads what about Pagid&Delphi&Ferodo&Mintex&EBC? Which would be the first 3 winners?

Thanks

mileage?

85000 miles on the clock.
When i bought it (1 month ago) they said it had it's s/motor, alternator, water pump, cambelt, replaced at 81000 miles.
But the s/motor now is sticking, and the engine doesn't start easy and smooth at all.
The warranty is not transferable in law, so the dealer can't get anything from the previous owner.
But they will send another s/motor or money to replace it.
