epper: About 2:00 this afternoon I received a very unexpected call from my dealership. My RedRiot was in and ready to be picked up. After an all over and under inspection, a test drive and filling out more paper work than it took to close on my house, I took delivery and departed. So far, so good. It is exactly as I ordered as far as I can tell. I put about 40 miles on it after delivery, just cruising around. Very comfortable and smooth. Will be spending some time going thru the 424 page owners manual and trying to figure out all the systems. Got the most important parts working OK, the garage door opener and the radio. Next challenge will be the BlueTooth controls. Spent a little time in the parts/service department getting to know the guys back there. Took the time to order a trailor hitch. It ended up being $119.00 out the door, that was dealers cost, retails for $185.00, so I guess that is not a bad deal. Should be in in a couple of days. I have to install the wiring harness before installing the hitch. Should be easy enough using the instructions and the tutorial on this site. Pictures to follow if I can figure out how to do it. But, it looks just like everyother red Patriot Limited with dark gray interior one out there.
