Intake Manifold Problems

Hi Had the lightning bolt issue with 2014 jeep patriot sport 2.4. Replaced the throttle body. Lightning bolt kept coming back. Did water test on intake and showed leaks. Replaced intake manifold gasket,( What a pain). Now car runs.No lightning bolt. But 2 problems. 1) Car races at start up more than it should. 2) And doesn't not want to rev past 4000 rpm. Makes it difficult to merge. Any ideas on what is causing this? Haven't checked codes yet.

Could be a leak around the seal between the manifold and throttle body or the MAP sensor. When I had a failing MAP sensor the Pat would idle high and not want to get up to highway speed. But you won't know for sure what the issue is until you get the codes read.
