you are sadly mistaken.. haha

im in the process of putting it all back together now, but if you do attempt this, be sure to have gorilla glue on hand because pieces will break..

there is also a small amount of soldering to do so be prepared for that..

and you have to rip out the center console..

which i recommend you clean while you can lol. mine had a lot of gunk in the cup holders...

oh and just for fun, heres my pat carrying two good sized tanks of propane while io have my sub covered.. lotsa space still if anyone would like to install subs..

Center console is the easiest part!!! What lighting kit are you installing?

the one off of justforjeeps.com
which is the MOPAR Ambient Lighting Kit.

yes it is the easiest part, as opposed to routing wires and soldering and so forth. im actually almost done. just waiting for some glue to dry...

edit: i also recommend learning how to take the shifter knob off, its a pain in the ass to try to work around..

idgas. its my first car. if my warranty goes under because of their stupid instructions nuts to them. it looks good and im about to post a thread of the finished product,

and no. thats my lil bros halloween bucket.. haha

uh...im the one who installed it..and the gay part about the instructions is that its ONLY pictures, s its sort of a guessing game with wires, and it does not show you where key pieces are(which you end up breaking).
any who, im done with it, and theres a new thread with the finished product.

Hey HooverBucs,

just some words of encouragement: I think it's FASTASTIC, that you are taking the time to do it yourself, and are making a project out of your Jeep. It will make it more unique, and you'll have much better interior lighting for it. Also huge thumbs up :smiley_thumbs_up: to the Black Muffler Mod.

Make the jeep your own, and just ignore the negative comments.

Keep it up, and send us some photos showing the final work. It's definately more than I'm willing to do on my interior, but I'm not as forgiving with myself when I run into trouble. You seem to be able to roll with it, and fix it or make a new plan. Nothing but respect for that!

I guess I'll have to search for the photos of this all done. Looks like a big project, probably too much for me to tackle. Besides, with kids, and grandkids, and parents that need care, and two homes, and a dog, and a wife, all of which need my time and care, I'm lucky to have time for much of anything that is not needed to be done. My list of things to do just seems to grow, no matter how many things I scratch off.
