I just sold my 2001 Wrangler and bought a more family friendly Patriot. I actually went to the dealer to buy a Chrysler 300C and my wife said nope! Too big. The Patriot doesn't have the power that my Wrangler had but it's really good on gas!. I get just about 30 on the highway. I got the 2.0L with CVT Trans. I would have got the 2.4 with the manual but the ms. refuses to try and learn a stick shift. Anyway, I took it up the steepest hill in my neighborhood in (Marin St. in Berkeley.) It's steeper than any street in San Francisco and it went up with no problem. Anyway, I'm very happy with my new car. And hey the warranty is nice also. I paid a little extra and got the lifetime bumper to bumper.
