I 've been trying to figure out which rear rotor size I'll need to get when it is time to replace them. Since there are 2 diameter sizes 11.89" (302mm) & 10.313" (262mm), I was initially unsure which to use. I haven't been able to find any documentation which size is correct.
It finally dawned on me ... math. Measure the circumference with a soft tape measure & calculate what is needed. Formula is provided for clarification and verification.
The circumference is Pi times the diameter or C = Pi * D
Solving for diameter: D = C / Pi
Circumference of 37.4" (948.8mm) means Diameter is 11.89" (302mm)
Circumference of 32.4" (823.1mm) means Diameter of 10.313" (262mm)
Even though I don't post much, I've learned so much here. I hope this is useful.
