I promised photos of my home made seat covers, and finally snapped a few photos, so here they are.

I like patterns like that to sort of hide stains, or whatever.

Cool... Perfect any technique you may feel needs working on and you may be able to sell a few!!!

Those look nice all though a bit warm for my climate.

I like the " Designer Fuzzy Camo" effect!! or maybe its 2 Aliens trying to steal your Pat!!

The material is good, and that was my job, to pick it out. My wife did all the measures and sewing. She said it took too much time to be able to sell those and even break even on it. They are warm in winter, but actually cool in summer.

I think your wife needs congratulating on her nimble finger work. I dont think my Mrs could have tackled that!!

Great work and congrats to Mrs Dixie :smiley_thumbs_up: ... but why not also make a cover for the centre arm rest? Plus I also have a piece of soft foam glued to the door armrest so both my elbows are rested comfy and warm :)

dixiedawg, did your wife happen to make a pattern? She might be able to sell those insted of actually making the covers herself. Just a thought.

I don;t think she made a pattern, but I can ask. I think she just went by the seat covers in my Tracker, and adjusted to fit the Jeep seats. The ones in the Tracker are sheepskin type, also warm in winter but cool in summer.

I thought about the arm rest, but I am in there a lot, and flip it open for my IPod a lot too.

Nice looking covers, both of you. I remember having custom made (by Mom) covers for my first couple of vehicles. Nothing beat them for softness, fit, and the pockets on the back.

Question though: Are you not concerned about airbag deployment? Or do you not have seat-mounted airbags?
