2 weeks into owning 2009 Jeep Patriot Limited 4x4. Brilliant Black. Slate Gray leather, uconnect phone, 6 cd, universal consumer interface, sun and sound.

Loving this vehicle. Its got to be one of if not the most underrated, badly reviewed vehicles out there.

Plenty of power, plus great mileage.

Anyway, I do have a question. Is there an easy fix to changing the 12V power outlet next to the heated seats button to "always on" ? I've come from having that and that's the one major thing this Patriot is lacking, but I understand that's a simple wiring change.

Welcome, Beautiful Patriot. As you alluded to, reviews on the Patriot are largely off the mark. Usually they are written by journalists, NOT mechanics, competition drivers, or even "car guys". At least we enthusiasts know better.
