SO I GOT FACTORY NAVI/ 6CD CHANGER ETC. FROM AN 05-06 DODGE MAGNUM (THE ONE WITH 3 NOBS - NOT THE MYGIG).

I guess you have the REC unit If that is the case all you would need to get it up and running is the Nav CD & the GPS antenna :smiley_thumbs_up:

and a new dash bezel, the REC navi won't fit in the current one obviously.

 

Yes - all of the above - I just installed the REC in my Compass - just needed the Nav bezel and a GPS antenna (and GPS disc if it doesn't have one in it) - everything else is direct plug n play - took me 20-30 minutes to install

 

thanks for the help guys, i appreciate it. do i need any adapters though? and for those of you who have done this modification how much does the gps antenna, dvd disc cost? and where could i find it for the cheapest?

 

GPS antenna's are all over ebay for like $15-20 - just search for chrysler REC gps antenna

check there for Nav discs too

I needed no wiring adapters - it's all plug n play because it was an optional radio on the Compass/Patriots
