I picked up my Pat Wednesday night....my salesman just called me and told me to go buy a lottery ticket becuase they just got notice that Jeep is giving a $500 rebate on Patriots now:pepper:.....they are going to retro me a check even though my deal was done. They could have easily pocketed that money and I would not have known.

Its nice dealing with a small town operation where customer service is more important than makeing a few extra dollars.

I have no idea....maybe its just getting to the dealers now maybe its a regional thing. Although I checked and it didn't show for my area either....It also could be a customer loyalty thing. I traded in a Jeep for this one...

Its worth having your dealer look into it. Especailly if you haven't picked yours up yet.

I haven't bought yet. I still owe $$ on my gas guzzling Nissan Xterra.:( Possibly 2008 and maybe by then, Jeep will offer some better incentives on the Pats. I have been watching the boards for a while now. How far is Enfield? I am in MA and travel up to Fremont, NH quite often to see my grandmother who will be 96 next week.

That was very honest of them. You should send your sales man a small gift card from the extra rebate to let him know that you really appreciate his "high road" approach.

Well I am a regular Customer..this is my 3rd vehicle I have bought from them. Plus I buy so many parts I get a very good discount.

but I truley believe they would have done that for anyone. A card is a good idea..maybe I'll bring a Pizza for him and the Parts guys that always help me out.

fyi Enfield is an easy drive from Metro Boston. That's where I ended up going to buy my RX-7. Think it was from Patriot motors (yes I know how appropriate). You get a nice relaxing drive home. Well I sorta raced part of the way.

FYI Just got back from the dealer...they handed me a check for $500. I asked the salesman....he said it was a new promotion that started at the beginning of June. My dealer had to ask DC sepcifically to get my rebate retroed since I had made the deal and picked up the Jeep already. DC didn't give them any problems.
So those of you who have picked up your Pat since June 1st or planning to buy one check with your dealership!

Yes I asked my dealer about it when pricing the 08...he said I could get a 500 rebate IF I was ending a lease with Chrystler. He said no rebate on the Pat.

Glad you found some place with great service and are able to trust them.
Our dealer and most of them where we live knew very little about the Patriot. The place where we ended up making the deal said he would "throw" in the Tonneau cover which was $380.00. And it turns out, we did our homework elsewhere that the Tonneau cover was std for a Limited Patriot. Very frustrating. Plus, the colour we wanted was scheduled to come in and they delayed and delayed and delayed so we settled on a white one. C'est la vie!

Glad that there are still some places out there that still care about service and reputation!
