fill the tire to its own specification the door sticker assumes you have the OEM goodyears

 

I wouldn't fill them any more than 35 psi.

The ride of the car will get too rough if you inflate them to 44. Plus, in most cases, the max psi rating on the tire is warm not cold.

I have my 225/70/16 procomps at 35 because any higher and they are far to rough.

 

I keep the grabbers on my Riot at 35 psi. 44 psi is the max listed on the General Tire website. Their website also says to adjust the psi to the vehicle manufacturers recommendation which for us is 35 psi.
