That's the type of tire that is on my Patriot. My uncle when he was looking at it looks at the tires and said that they are good tires. My question is are they performance tires. I went to the goodyear site and I could only find eagles under performance. Now my uncle said if I rotate them at 6,000 and keep rotating I should have them for sometime. Has anyone ever had this type of tire. He asked if I was going to upgrade my tires and wheels I said No! I'm still paying for the tire and wheel upgrade that I did with my hubby's pickup.

Try going to www.tirerack.com. There are a LOT of different Goodyear Eagle models, make sure you have the proper model, then you can look it up and see how they were rated.

Rotating the tires is a good idea. With Radials, you don't rotate the tires by moving them in the old "X" pattern, you just swap the fronts for the backs on the same side of the car. Crossing the tire to the opposite side of the car reverses the tread pattern and this is not good for radials.

Good luck!:smiley_thumbs_up:

Check the owners manual for the correct rotation pattern. The thought that radials should not be rotated from one side of the vehicle to the other is old school, and does not follow the modern radial rotation thought. Some high performance radials are directional, and those are now the only ones that stay on the same side of the vehicle, but for a different reason than the old school method

Hi None Required,

Old school, eh?.....Yep, I AM old school so this info may be outdated. If you find the rotation info, please let us know what it is.:)
