Welcome and congrats with your new Patriot. I had a PT Cruiser turbo in 2003 when they came out. I really liked it but I prefer my Riot since it is more capable on and off road.

 

Congrats man nice upgrade, but what do you mean by "heavily modified PT GT cruiser"?

I am one month into driving my Riot and I love it. I am getting upwards of 29 mpg and I got one tank with 31! Now I gotta clean her this weekend and do some detailing. I love the U connect and satellite radio to the point that I am getting spoiled.

 

congrats and welcome... my friend is contemplating doing the exact same thing, he has a turbo cruiser and wants a patriot

 

There is a big power difference but the Riot has more room, feels a lot nicer in many ways, so not a big deal. I like it quite a bit.

I'll miss my cruiser, but I'm glad to have my patriot.

 

My Fiancee had a PT Bruiser (what she called it). That car was possessed. It was unreliable and always had an issue. I had to take it to the dealership once because the TCM wasn't working and I couldn't go over 40mph because it wouldn't shift.

Sad end to a sad vehicle. Someone pulled out in front of her and she slammed on her breaks and the truck in front of her did as well.. She ended up having the truck's trailer hitch put a hole in her radiator and insurance totaled the car. Finally putting it out of it's misery.

 

Mine was a great little car, until the ECU went bad in it.

Great choice in cars my first Chrysler was a 2007 pt cruiser I always wanted one even when they first came out . But I wasn't about to wait six months for delivery back then . I just bought my first jeep just love the versatility of it . It's not 4x4 but it works just fine for me I purchased 2011 patriot Ltd. I wish that I could of got my pat in the same color as my pt but you know things change my pt was a lightish blue which it got called granny blue by my mates girl friends .
