I put a new battery in my 08' w/ cvt trans. 4x4 limited. jeep started fine but the engine light was on. as I went to back out of my driveway to go get the light reset the car would not go into reverse or drive, the engine just reved up and would not move. like it was stuck in neutral after trying a few times I 
got it to move. I drove to the shop, he reset the light but when I went to leave the car still would not go into drive or reverse. the shifter moved ok but the engine just raced up till I finally got it to move...I did not to my knowledge touch any cables or wires other than the battery cables., any ideas ? i do know that the trans module needs to reprogram its self...any thoughts on this?? thanks and happy new year...
