As far as I know you are correct -- no changes to the grille until 2011.

Here's an idea he might like that I did to my Pat. It's cheap and easy... chrome door trim on the grille. (more pics in my album)

 

I believe they'r ethe same but just to be sure why not measure it and see. I've a chrome grille cover which I imported from the States and it's so easy to fit and it wont budge afterwards, I love mine.

 

I bought a grille overlay which was advertised for a 2010 off ebay for $99 from some guy calling himself 'bling king.' The overlay fit exactly as it should and I am satisfied with it, just look around the ebay auctions for the auction that has actual images of the one the guy put on a Patriot and buy it from him. The auction even says it has a 3 year warranty.

 

is this a full grill overlay like the 1st gen Libbys or is this the hideous slot covered overlay

thanks to those who helped to figure out that '10s are the same front end as the others.

I like the chrome strips that go over the black ribs in the grill holes. Not sure if that would be too much with the overlay or not.

Why pay someone for the strips, when a roll of the chrome edging is about $12 at auto parts stores, just cut the strips yourself, and save the $14.99 and shipping.

2 different things here though, the grill overlay is different from those.

 

What I'm curious about is if it will fit my 2011? Any thoughts?

In case anyones curious, I spoke with the dealer I buy all of my accessories from. They checked with the distributor and told me this will fit all models including 2011.

Please disregard my previous post, after a side by side inspection I've seen that there are some significant changes to the grill on the 2011. Where the plastic is squared off at the bottom of the holes on the previous models, the 11 tapers up making the size of the slots different. Apparently the distributor was misinformed.

 

Rzes: i just got mine popped in today, just like yours, it looks ALOT better real life than the picture! thanks for the idea! next week will install the nerf bar and retangular fogs on the grill, can't wait!

 

Mine is black and i so want this grille..... start making it for 11's !! lol

 

Of all the grille designs I prefer the Startech ones which are 7 seperate items rather than the one large overlay which personally I think looks a bit on the bulky side. The only problem is the price , about £190 for a set. Does anybody Know of anybody apart from Startech who make these at a more realistic price.
