Hello all -

I have read the different threads regarding replacement of the front turn signal bulbs and how ridiculously inconvenient it is. I know that it is accessed through the wheel well, and that the three bolts right on the edge come off - those are easy. But I am confused about the "push pin" clip that is set further in... how exactly does that thing come off?

Does it pop off or what? Or should it unscrew or something? I just don't want to break it and screw everything up... what is the recommended tool for getting it off?

This entire ordeal is just ridiculous... how did Jeep manage to make changing a lightbulb into an afternoon of work?

thanks man, I will try a flathead and we'll see how that goes. Did you take the wheel off like the directions suggest? I've turned my wheel all the way to the side and just tried to work around it, though I could see where it might be a lot easier to work without it there.

Among the cursing and other profanity that I was spewing, I wondered... would it really kill Chrysler to make a metal screw?

Are those plastic screws available at hardware stores or do I have to visit Jeep for those, if I break one?
