Double din works fine, just will need the appropriate adapters, housing, etc.

 

Take measurements, I had to return 2 units as they were too large to fit.
I know Pioneers fit in as well as the Jensen VX that I have installed.

 

Interesting - did not know that. FYI - I have the Pioneer App Radio 4 (SPH DA120)

 

Just call Crutchfield and speak to an assistant. My buddy just went through them for an old Audi convertible, they guaranteed the fitment or he could send it back no charge.

 

Crutchfield's website will have a fit framework that will get you the right stuff for your Patriot. You'll need an adapter for the steering wheel audio controls, if you have that option installed on your Patriot.

In my 15 patriot, i got a double din i want. Wiring it up and everything was going smoothly until i ran into the ignition power issue. Can't remember how to wire it up to the key
