Any recommendations for a good hood-mounted bug deflector for the Patriot? What looks good / works / won't break easily?

Photos appreciated as well. Thanks!

Mines a Lund, installed easily, longest part was making sure I liked the mounting position, marking the underside of the hood, etc. The actual installation was quick. Maye 20 mins or so to determine where, and then less than 5 mins to install.

Could go quicker if you have some help, to hold it, etc.

My Lund has the tape, but also 4 places for sheet metal screws, and the screws come with it. I only used 2 of the crews when I mounted mine. I used the 2 outside screws, and thought the inner ones weren't needed, and over a year driving, heavy rains, deep snow, wind, high speeds, everything it's still on there well.

I used the tape to mostly just hold it in place while I drilled and put the screws in. I don;t think I would trust the tape alone to hold it.

I'll attach a recent photo from the front, there's a rainbow behind it, but hard to see.

I have the Auto Vent shades on my windows and also their bug deflector. It came with tape and screws. I put it on my 07 a year ago and no problems so far. I like the window shades because you can drive in a rainstorm with the windows down 2 inches or so and no water blows in.

I purchased the mopar one for the front and rear, the front screws in and I have no problem with. The rear they had to drill holes for the install and screwed it up and had to use different plugs/screws to fix it. The rear looks good now but had I known what I know (don't get the rear done).

I have the mopar one. I still hit about every dang bug that is out there. I'm sure it's protecting the leading edge of my hood though.
