Depends on your definitition. We are talking about $20-30/ one (1) wiper.

There you got it...$40 for the pair! I personally will stick with Bosch as I have been happy with them.

 

You don't need $30 wipers. Just get Rain-X. There's nothing like using it. PERIOD

 

Valeo do these also. I put them on my X-trail and they did't work that well so I put standard valeo blades back on..fine now.My wife has a Hyundai Coupe 2004 and the wipers always squeaked. Valeo flat blades are a great success on that car...You just have to try them and see.........

Rain-X does not do it for me. But I found too many smearing issues. I rather replace my blades every 6 months before I use rain-x again. Oh - and I used as directed

 

If you have smearing issues with Rain-X, you are NOT using it correctly. It is just like applying a fine wax, with no residue and just pure water beading.

 

I believe that is up to interpretation. As i said above, I used it according to the directions provided. I'm not the only person who had complaint about this. I even send rain-x an email about it and I got a relpy back saying that if I followed the instructions, and still get smearing it must be the wipers. Put new wipers on, same issue. At that point I gave up on rain-x. The first week was great, after that the smearing started.

Even professional car details I know experienced the same issue. They say after a weeks time they experienced a 'haze' between the wiper blades and the windshield when the blades pass over the glass, so they quit using it. And that is the same 'smear' effect I am refering to...It just doesn't do it for me.
