Finally :pepper:.

I ordered my FDII Patriot LTD. on Jan 6th. and picked it up last night. It had to be made to order because there were no comparably-optioned FDII's in Ontario. I initially wanted red but my wife wanted green so we decided to compromise and got green. :D

Installed the Hidden Hitch today, that was a pita because of the rear tow hook. I used a 21/32nds cobalt drill bit to get through it after I destroyed my regular HSS bits. But, thanks to the info on this forum I already had the longer hitch bolts waiting and the trailer harness was a cinch once I was finally able to remove the tail light fasteners..

It's pouring rain outside, so first thing I'd like to do is to check for leaks in the morning. Next is to order a bug deflector and then I'd like to get some anti-seize between the brake hubs and wheels. This weekend I'll be doing a dry run with my boat and trailer to get a feel for the vehicle's response to the added weight.

I won't bore you with impressions, but we like it. Alot.

Sorry for the unispiring locale, but I haven't really taken it anywhere, yet...

Nice ride DJ, congrats.
Mine has been on order 2 weeks now so it sounds like I have a ways to go. Question: Were the incentives, last night, when you took delivery any different than when you ordered back on Jan 6th? I'm curious which ones you got? Nice hitch install too, I think I'll go with that style.

Great looking Pat and congrats on the buy. Yours came with a Dog? I will have to ask my dealer where my dog is.

I have found Im getting in the city with mine a little over 200 miles (210-220) to a tank of gas so you will enjoy it a lot when your passing the gas station.

I have put close to 500 fun miles on the highway.
