Finally
epper:.
I ordered my FDII Patriot LTD. on Jan 6th. and picked it up last night. It had to be made to order because there were no comparably-optioned FDII's in Ontario. I initially wanted red but my wife wanted green so we decided to compromise and got green.
Installed the Hidden Hitch today, that was a pita because of the rear tow hook. I used a 21/32nds cobalt drill bit to get through it after I destroyed my regular HSS bits. But, thanks to the info on this forum I already had the longer hitch bolts waiting and the trailer harness was a cinch once I was finally able to remove the tail light fasteners..
It's pouring rain outside, so first thing I'd like to do is to check for leaks in the morning. Next is to order a bug deflector and then I'd like to get some anti-seize between the brake hubs and wheels. This weekend I'll be doing a dry run with my boat and trailer to get a feel for the vehicle's response to the added weight.
I won't bore you with impressions, but we like it. Alot.
Sorry for the unispiring locale, but I haven't really taken it anywhere, yet...
