80,000 miles and i love the 07 patriot. It has been flawless!! i have done nothing to my jeep but oil changes, plugs, 1 set of tires and thats it. Overall this is the most trouble free suv i have owned. if anyone is still on the frence get one!! With 80,000 miles brakes are just at half i love it!

I have over 50,000 miles on mine and have had the same experience. Sorry to see the model discontinued - I would definitely buy another at around 100 - 150K.
80K miles on a 2007 model is extremely high, but i always hear these stories of people who drive a lot and their vehicles hold up beyond expectation. i presume most of those miles were highway miles, which also makes a contribution.
back when i was drive 80 miles a day for work, my honda civic had no issues at all. then, when i switched jobs and relocated and my commute is now only a short 10mins of driving...everything started to fall apart. the transmission crapped out on me, and the engine is definitely not running like it used to.
i really think with vehicles, the more you use it (long trips / highway miles), the longer it will last you

My wife drives our 2003 Toyota Camry and it has been totally reliable, with no problems. The other day we were driving in it and I commented on how well it rode and drove. I then said to my wife, "Our patriot has also been great." My wife said "you know, it really has been very reliable. I really thought that you would be having problems with it, compared to our Camry, but it really surprised me. "

i drive 120 miles a day to work and back so yes mostky highway and i use it for trips to vegas etc overall like i said no issues what so ever to me.
Just watched my odometer turn 69k miles on my 07 last night. I have had zero problems and have yet to replace anything except tyres. However, I am about to have it looked at for an idle problem that I and some others here are having issues with. My expectations are 150k with only minor problems. Time will tell.
