4x4 patriot fwd or rwd?

Just curious if anyone knows or has tested.

The non 4x4 patriots are FWD. Is the 4x4 also FWD when in 2 wheel mode or RWD?

I have owned 4x4 trucks before that were RWD until locked in 4wd mode. Trucks are usually RWD.

4x4 Pats are Front Wheel Drive when not in 4x4 mode.

I think that the FWD 4x4 is a really good idea. When I had my YJ, I had to have it in 4x4 all winter pretty much as it wouldn't go anywhere in RWD.
