Open a case with FCA corporate and contact Jeep Cares on this forum. Being over just 1k miles past your warranty shouldn't be that big of a deal.

fan has low and high
is it kicking at all?
simple check would be relays,
I think the relay is middle relay on the bottom,
if relay is good check fuse , I don't recall which fuse powers the AC fan relay, been a while for me, and don't have my fuse chart handy
when my AC fan went out it wouldn't kick into high,
I jumped the relay from the fuse box, was a temporary fix and not very practicle
it turned out my TPCM needed to be replaced ,

 

Thanks and yeah the relays seem to be working fine and the fans won't turn on at all

 

if relays appear fine, check fuse,
fuse is number 15 40 amp green fuse check if its blown,
also check if fuse is getting power , will need a multimeter/tester for that
if no power at the fuse, will get more complicated as it gets its power from the tcpm,

 

The fan motor was making a sqeeking noise on my 2010 Patriot last winter. It has over 80,000 miles on it, so I didn't even bother taking it to the dealer. I went to Rock Auto and bought a new fan for $38.00 and installed it myself. It is located behind the glove compartment, which you just sqeeze to remove. Remove three screws and one wire connector to replace the motor.

She has to be talking about the rad fans. Both aren't turning on and the vehicle overheats so your troubleshooting steps are applicable.

 

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the interior fan. I'll bet Rock Auto also has the radiator fans.

Sorry about reviving an old thread but I can’t seem to find my relay box, I found the fuse box under the hood by the air box but not the relays to the radiator fans, I also have a 2014 jeep patriot 2.4l

 

The relay box is located on the frame rail, down below the drivers side headlight.

 

I seen a thin one down there but it seems to small to fit regular relays in parallel could they be Mimi relays? Also how do I get the cap off of it. I almost ripped it out for some reason the clips don’t let go even shoved a flat head screw driver in between the clips and nothing

 

On my 2010 Patriot, I used a fingertip to pull the rear tab away from the box (from the bottom) and then up, and the lid popped off, pivoting on the front tab. I spent way more time figuring that out than I should have.
