FDII was around in 2008, I had one. The FDII Springs added 1" of height vs the regular springs.

If you were to put FDII springs in it would be best to do all 4 then you'd get a 1" lift. I don't actually have part #'s though.

I am wondering if the monroe struts remedy the sagging spring syndrome on the older patriots since the monroe struts lifted the back of my 2011 a bit ?

 

Give me a bit and i'll PM you the VIN of my old 2008 FDII patriot, take the vin to the dealership and ask for the springs, they will be able to get you the part number and/or order the springs.

I think my springs are still fine, but when the time comes that they need replacing I would like to get the FDII springs instead of the FDI springs.

Hey guys, just a suggestion and I think it would be in your best interest that if you are gonna take the time to swap out coil springs, may as well buy new struts as well. A set of standard springs out of any 2011-up 4x4 would work for you as well.They would be the same as any fdii model made from 2010-down.There is a set for sale in the outpost section.

the part number off of my FDI is 05105893AD and the FDII is 05105892AD. Thats straight from chrysler.

 

Good suggestion by bcom. If you are replacing springs due to wear, replace the struts as well. Strut replacement by itself is probably as labor $ intensive as coil spring replacement, something you would not want to do twice.

 

Do both at the same time so that you only need an alignment once!

 

i bought the fd2 springs from the outpost about a week ago. when they arrive i can get you all the part numbers. im lifting mine, doing new springs and struts. might as well only do it once!

 

Ya I replaced the struts first thinking that was the problem so they're brand new
