Anyone else get their letter from Chrysler...

about the 6X9 standard Panasonic speakers warranty being extended to 5 years or 60,000 miles???, Both my mom and myself received one today it covers 07 and some of 08 Patriot/Compass and Caliber vehicles. If you replaced your 6X9 speakers where replaced out of warranty they give an address to send the receipt for reimbursment.

Got the letter. I guess we need to crank the stereo loud to see if the speakers can take it, before the warranty expires.

Does this coincide with any specific audio system? Or does this just affect the high output audio systems? Inquiring minds need to know....

They said all 2007's and some early 2008's with PANASONIC 6x9 speakers. So I think its the standard ones.

I believe there are 4 of them, and if you find a problem with any of them, they will replace all of them.

And here I was blaming my kid for blowing the one speaker. I haven't received a letter but if there is any place to download and print from, I'd (and probably a few others) would appreciate it.

no specific info on it,
you should be covered even without the letter,
ask your dealer,
can also scan email you copy of my letter
