I recently put in these new plugs after reading about the hp gains and mpgs.
My friend with a 2003 wrx put them in his car for a little more hp. I thought its was a scam until i saw a video of horsepower tv testing them on a dyno. the e3 spark plugs gained 5.5 more horsepower and used about 5 percent less gas. so i decided to get a set from summitracing.com it ended up being about 33 dollars with shipping. I ordered the plugs wednesday night and put them in friday. I not only noticed a little more horsepower but gained 2 mpg. i love these things. a few days later i got a dyno run for it the results came out as follows.

0-10 1.72 sec
0-20 2.89 sec
0-30 4.17 sec
0-40 5.46 sec
0-50 6.81 sec
0-60 8.39 sec
0-70 9.99 sec
0-80 11.56 sec

1/4 mile time 16.17 seconds
peak hp 181 hp

i also have a k&n air filter
the dyno seemed kind of sketchy but i got these results a gain of 9 hp sounds good give them a test and get back to me

I plan on installing them in my Patriot when the time comes.
I have them in my 99 Dodge Intreid ES 3.2 liter, they have about 10,000 miles on them-car ran better after installing them-more power(seat of pants meter-MPG went up 2 or 3 runs much smoother as well. I even have one in my Craftsman lawn mower, which befor I installed it was very hard to start after it sat for a week, now prime 4 times and pull the cord once and it runs.
The E3 plugs have a lifetime warranty.

Part number indeed! Where is it that we pick these babies up?

Interesting numbers. Was this done on a dyno that measures hp at the rear wheels or at the flywheel on the engine? I know the engine is rated at 172hp so the number at the rear wheels would be less. I don't mean to question your numbers but before I plunk down 33 bucks for spark plugs I would like to know how you got these numbers.

1. On the box there is a 100,000 mile warranty but I'm gonna change them at 30,000
2. I don't have a part number but go to summitracing.com and search e3 spark plug and click for the plugs and then click select for car and enter in the pat.
3. The hp was taken from the flywheel the hp to the wheels is 170.83 hp
