been reading through the forum. Seems the white (for the 4x4 sport) is the unpopular color.

a few people seem to have got it inthe limited however (don't seem much difference exterior wise).

i thought the white looked good...now im starting to doubt the color we chose.

Who cares what other people think? If somebody comes and tells you that they don't like it in white... tell them you suggest they buy another color. I'm sure this will happen with the new orange, and blue... don't sweat it!

:) well glad to hear some people are out there with the white. actually the only one i have seen is a white limited on the demo floor and it was beautiful.

we ordered the white (my parents) and i can't wait to see it!

I think white looks very nice in the Patriot. We each have our passions and I now tend towards black, blue, and silver in cars. Interesting because at one time had a string of white cars.

i saw a sport out for the first time last night as i was driving to a friends house and it was white. It looked ok, but it just didnt look wow :-/ kinda looked like a company car. But still a nice vehicle none the less. It still looked good despite the color.

I have only seen two other riots in my area - a marine blue and a white limited. I thought the white limited looked fine - one of the few colors I like the metal bumper inserts on...
This is snow country, and white vehicles tend to be hard to see in certain situations, like windy mountain roads in snowstorms...
But the bottom line, of course, is to get the riot that you like. Its not like you're buying it for anyone else!

Don't sweat it. If you like your choice then that's all that matters.

Personally, I don't care for the white sport. But the white limited looks nice... classy.

To be honest I would rather have the color most do not want... that way in about 3 years I wont see a truck that looks like mine on every corner. Not to mention white autos are so much easier to keep clean and stay cooler in the summer months.

now...the one i saw was the limited. and i actually thought white gave it that "wow" factor other colors didn't. aside from the silver bumber i don't believe there is much difference to the exterior of the sport. personally i own a titanium grey mazda 3 :) the riot is for my parents, and after seeing the white one we convinced em to go with white. im not a big fan of white on cars but i find on suv's it looks good. i can see however if jeep owners use their cars to go camping and off trail regularly white may not be the best choice but for city folks, i gives it that classy, luxurious, suv style. in any case they went back for the black one and it was already sold so they have to wait a month or so for their white one now :) hehe

Thats precisely why I jumped on my Jeep Green one when I found it!

I haven't seen one yet in white, but I think as long as you got the Aluminum wheels which are more of a grey color, it will look great!

And I agree w/ the others, it doesn't matter what other people like, as long as your folks like it!

I love the white. In fact, there is a white Limited that parks in the same garage where I work and I think it looks sharp. I just couldn't resist the red when I saw the AZ sun on it... it truly does look "inferno" red. :D

i think the white is a sharp looking color, but didn't go with it because I have been two accidents in white cars when there was a lot of snow on the ground, so i'm a little nervous about white now.

I have 2 Pat's and the first one my wife wanted was white and I think it looks great, the 2nd one I bought for myself is Inferno Red so we have a white 08 sport and a Red 08 Red one and I have taken my wifes white one since I out more miles on the vehicle than she does and I still think the white is sharp but when I get a new one I will search around and see what other colors are out there but it will be 2 or 3 years. I do know I won't be looking for a Surf (smerf blue) but I know a guy who loves that color but then he also doesn't own one in that color he has a Jeep Green 4x4 2008

True that. Same thing going on right now with the new interior threads. Most current owners hate it (of course), but alot of us prospective buyers like the 09s. Bottom line is you don't need to please anyone else but yourself. Buy what you want and be happy. Oh and personally, I hate white :p.

The black one we got was the first one I saw that wasn't going in the opposite direction. So after a week of stiff necks I found the closet one online at this Jeep dealer north of us in the next county.
So I pull into their customer parking and there she is, a beautiful black sport with the 17s and the cream/gold Jeep pinstripe. SWEET! Not a 4x though.
The dealer had a white Limited 4x, but it wasn't the same. My wife also liked a red Compass that was pretty hot, but the front roof line is in my 6'2"+ face. Not a postion I would want in the dirt.
Have loved the black ever since, and my wife still thinks it is the bomb after 18-months.
White is easier to clean though, and stays clean longer.:smiley_thumbs_up:
