From the outside the only noticable cue was the black tailgate handle. Okay.
The interior is defintely NOT a turn-on for anyone with a '07 or '08 Pat. Nice finsih, nice padded armrests and console, but not enough to make a present owner even think about trading up? Dash seemed Korean like a Sportage. YUK!!!
I did sit in a $41k Challenger, not bad, but really? $20k limited production tack-on. REALLY!!!

On another note, the Pat had its lift check-up today, nothing to report, it passed.
We love the lift, but we need tires soon, which is a good thing. The SRAs are so soft that the crushed shell FL outback will disintegrate them before 20k miles.

Considering the high quality of Korean cars now, that's kind of a back-handed compliment. :) Jeep could have given it some more personality, but it seems there are only a few standard designs that are ergonomically workable, so everything starts to look like everything else. :(

its a case of well I already got a patriot, the new interior sucks. thats all that is. I think its a great improvement, the interior didnt keep me from buying one anyway but it is definately better.

I couldn't diagree with this more, I thought i would be kicking myself when the interior appeared, but I am happy (yet sad at the same time) to say i am glad I got the 07. I am sure the quality is better and I like the new location of the 12v outlet and the doorpanels, but that's really it. i hate the whole design of the center console. The 4x4 T-handle is in a horrid place, I'd be losing the little cubby in front of the cupholders i use A LOT, the center stack looks totally generic, bland, and out of place. f course this is my opinion and I am sure lots will love it, but while maybe not being the highest quality interior, the 07-08s had a little uniqueness and wasn't so me-too like the 09 interior. I thought the same about the 07 Chrysler LHS vs 98 interior too. LOL, so who knows.

It's a mass appeal thang!
I do think the fit and finish of the interior will be more attractive to a broader range of buyers. Exterior fit is the same. The Pat I saw was the new sand paint job, reminded me of the sand I couldn't get in '93 for my Grand. No more light khaki.
I failed to mention that the window sticker seemed higher, but I really didn't do a thorough read.

Interior

Thumbs up:smiley_thumbs_up:

I didnt have a chance to sit in one yet, but from the outside I LIKE it.
maybe a little overdone though.

That darn cvt is keeping me out of the pat cant have the manual.:doh::doh:

the 09 interior is bad looking. the design just doesnt flow like the 07's, but the materials used in the 09 are awesome

I have to agree with you. I did have the '08-'09 choice (plus the '09 was also going to cost more) and I prefer the new interior. I also liked the '08 interior for different reasons. Cheers.

I just had a buddy drop by with his wife's new '09 white Limited. Robbie, you suck! 5-speed with a gray interior. I think the interior is starting to grow on me, very comfy. They traded in their 5-year old Pacifica pig. Down here they are 4x2s and no roofs usually, as was this one. He said Holly always liked my wife's Pat, but had to go with white. Seems that is a FL color for the Limiteds down here.
Sorry no pics.
