Hey everyone,

Just finally got back around to checking out the forum, so I figured I'd make my first post. This is my second vehicle(I'm still a college student), got it in October so it only has about 6000 miles on it. My last car was a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, turbo'd and modded, pushed about 270hp and sat with just over 3" of ground clearance-needless to say, it was the polar opposite of a Jeep! I'm excited to build this up a bit though. So far I haven't had the funds to do much. I have the OEM tints in the back, 30% in the front(not pictured), plasti-dipped Jeep emblems and rims, and one light coat of VHT Nite shades on the tails. Within the next few months I'll be getting the RRO lift, 16" rims, either a set of Duratracs or General Grabbers, a basket and maybe a few minor aesthetic mods. Looking forward to the Jeep lifestyle! Also, never been off-roading since I've never had the truck for it so if anyone on Long Island knows where to go I'd love some advice.

Welcome to the community. Don't lift it, join the slammed club!
Haha I definitely debated it, but I think I want to switch it up. I've only ever owned a slammed car I want to experience a real 4x4

He will have a hard time on the beach slammed :)
As for beach look up local towns 4x4 beach pemits
Or look up robert moses 4x4 permit
Will do, thanks! I can't wait for the summer weather

Yeah, Creation, if he wanted to slam it, he'd have gotten a Civic or R-34. :p Got to poke just a little fun at ya, every now and then. Don't know how it got into your head to slam the Jeep brand, but I admit in your case the results don't look half bad.

Welcome!

I had a Civic coupe before the Jeep (not modded..but low enough) and it really is a complete opposite. It's kinda nice not having to climb up to get out of your car lol

I don't know about Long Island, but the rest of NY isn't what I would call 4x4 friendly

Welcome!

Im from LI too, they start to sell beach permits towards the end of April, I'm in the town of Babylon and will be at the Belmont state park to purchase the beach permit, they sell them until end of April so don't miss out!

Here's a pic of my truck, toot if you see me on the road!

Yea I'm not really sure where people around here go besides the beaches, but I see a fair amount of lifted jeeps/pickups around here.
