I know someone else posted that Jeep really messed-up when they decided to use a 17" wheel as the upgrade instead of a 16". I agree with this statement whole-heartedly.
So today I swapped out the wheel sets from my Xscape with the Pat's 17s.
235/70/16 is such perfect size for the Pat raised or not. 29" diameter and 9.3 inches wide. The "truck" even looks beefier, and we're only talking 1/2" more lift, but the wheel wells just look right. I think the Ford wheel even adds something, prolly covers up the weak looking rotors. My wife said "we are going to have a talk." LOL
The 17" wheel gives my Xscape more options as well, but also the ability to try a 245/65/17 that may or may no fit easily on the Pat. The 215s on the Ford look a little weak, but I want to fry them with the miles I put on, instead of waiting for my wife to run them down, which would take another half year. So I think this is a win-win for the two vehix.
What do you think?
