I just bought my first Jeep last week a 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport.
I really love it!
I do think it needs some rims because the steel ones are a little ugly...lol.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Welcome to our phunny pharm..errr..forums!

That is one sweet lookin' Pat you have there. Nice pics by the way!
If you are planning to upgrade your wheels, it will be strictly a matter of choice since there are a ton of wheels out there that would work. Some of our members have gone with heavy amounts of 'bling' where others have kept it a little more subtle. It's all personal preference.
Good luck with whatever you choose!

Again, welcome aboard.

Thanks! I will start looking around.. What other stock wheels will work? Commanders? Calibers? ect...

Wheels

I almost purchased a Sport with steel wheels and was planning to buy LiquidMetal Venom Chrome wheels from Discount Tire. I was going with 18" and BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS 235/50 tires. The total price was around $1400. I then realized I also would have to purchase the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors for about $40 each.

Fortunately I was able to locate a white 2008 Patriot Sport with the tire/wheel package. I still may get the chrome wheels - next summer.

...what he said!....Welcome from Alberta....deciding on what wheel design is half the fun....sooo, have fun! :smiley_thumbs_up:

I wish I had the vinyl instead of the YES seats, my dogs hair sticks to the cloth seats SOOOO bad
Yeah, when I saw BlackPatriotGirl's photo I seriously thought "nice vinyl".

I just bought my Pat but haven't taken my dog in it yet since he needed a flea bath. It's not going to be fun getting his short white hairs out of my charcoal YES fabric, but it was the only Freedom Drive I with Manual Transmission within driving distance and I needed a car NOW due to a broken piston rod in my van.

Really nice Pat and welcome to the forums!

Personally, I LOVE the rims that come stock on the limited :) the sport... yeah, not so much.

Ya mean like my stock rims on my Sport?:p (see avatar-stock, right off the showroom floor..)

For cheap, the chrome skins are a good value if all you want is bling. The design of the 16" steelies are pretty ugly to me even with chrome skins, but everyone has different tastes. Otherwise, I'm not into the big wheel chrome look. They are usualy heavy which mean drinks more fuel.

There are some examples of 20"+ chromes on here, so take a look around the Suspension and tires forum.

My Jeep

I definately went the way of shiny on mine. I think if it was black like yours, it may look even better. If I was you, my first stop would be the window tint guy. Congrats on the new Jeep!
