Jeep Patriot Team,

My rims are AR Fuel Series 321 16" x8" 5" bs, offset +12mm

I'd like to know if I can run the below tire on my stock 2008 Patriot 2.0. 265/60/16 (28.5 x 10.7) .. without any rubbing even on hard breaking and turns.

I use to run 255/65/16 but these were too high at 29.02 inches and would slightly rub,but rub big on a hard breaking . Turning radius was never a problem. I suspect that 1/2 inch lower height will be enough to solve the problem, Also concerned about 10.7" wide.. but I really do want a much wider tire like this.

Anybody know?

Thanks in Advance!!!

i have 255\45r20 and they are 10.1 inches wide and 29.1 inches tall and they rub a little when turning all the way but if you get a 10.7 inch wide tire that will rub a lot so no its not gonna work
and why are your rims 12mm off set the stock is 39mm and my rims are 40mm of set and there perfect

Got any pics? If your rub it's cause of the height and not the width. I suspect if I am closer to 28 high, I can go to 10.7 wide... not sure though. Why are my rims 12mm offset.. cause they are and actually I like that they stick out a little bit.
