I've recently been noticing a couple of things on my 2010 Patriot ignition:
1. The keyswitch doesn't bounce back into "run" position when starting. Most times I need to roll it back from the "ignition" position manually.
(I only have Patriot key & house key on ring, so it's not a weight issue)
2. The starter motor kept running after the engine had started; the engine behaved as if it were ready to stall. I turned the ignition switch OFF and tried again. Same thing. 3rd time everything worked.
Out of warranty. 58k miles.
Any similar experiences?
