Hey guys. I am still searching for a patriot. They sold a 2008 from underneath me, so now they are upgrading me to a 2009.

According to the government website:

"Applicants can apply for the rebate on eligible 2006, 2007 and 2008 model-year vehicles purchased or leased (12 months or more) between March 20, 2007 and December 31, 2008. The final deadline for submission of applications is March 31, 2009. "

Does this mean that 2009's are not elgible? Technically the 2009 Jeep that I am buying was built in 2008. I am getting one within 10 days from now

If they are not, then I think that is absolutely retarded.

any advice? THanks folks.

roland365 If your new ride is a new/demo 2008 2wd model, you're still in luck. You just go to this govt link, and print out the forms; follow the instructions, mail and wait. I'm still waiting after mailing in early July.

Govt are quick to grab our taxes/fees; they take their sweet time to refund/rebate. LOL.

well i guess this is only for canadians....
Yes, federal program ends december 31 2008. So I guess a Patriot 2009 bought before that date is eligible.
