I have a couple paint chips around the finders probably from rocks but they are starting to rust has anyone had this problem being that it is an 07 i didnt think it would rust. does anyone have a quick fix for this problem.

It's bound to happen. I have one too. I'm picking up my touch-up paint pen his weekend to take care of mine. Just call your dealer and give them your paint code. It's on the label on the door jamb of the drivers door.
If the chip is down to bare metal it will rust very shortly. Should just be surface rust tho. If they are not too big you should just be able to use the touch-up pen (should come with instructions). If they are bigger there are websites with a lot of good info on how to repair them.
If you don't feel comfortable with that you might want to get them repaired professionally.
I plan on taking before and after pics and posting them when I repair mine on the weekend.

I just noticied my first paint chip, about the size of a pencil eraser. It was rusted over also.

I used some rustoleum rust protector. I think it is probably the same stuff in those pens, but a way better deal at about a dollar an ounce. You don't have to sand it or anything just use a q-tip and dab it on. It chemically reacts with the rust and turns the chip to a mat black. It stops the rust within 15 minutes.

I do need to buy some touch up paint to put over it but aleast the corrosion is stopped in its tracks.:smiley_thumbs_up:

I'll second the rustoleum stuff. Then use your touch up paint, then clear cote touch up, and it will be good as new.

Touch up paint works great

for covering up small nicks and chips,
havent used it on the pat "yet"
but have had great results using it on other cars,
really makes a difference

I actually closed my tailgate onto a boat of mine the 3rd month of owning it! I could have kicked myself. I now noticed rust on the spot. I did touch up with paint when it happen but obviously it didn't hold up. Was thinking of taking it in before the coming up winter in WI with tons of ice/salt I know it's gonna get worse.
