Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but not to Jeeps. I first one was a new '98 TJ that I lifted and took off road. I sold that and got a used '99 Grand Cherokee because the TJ didn't have enough room for my girlfriend and her kids. I'm now selling that because of the rising price of gas and it's crappy mileage. It's also bigger than I need and I just don't need the off-road capabilities. I bought a new '08 Patriot North Edition 4x4 in Jeep Green. I've enjoyed the 2 days I've had it so far. The CVT is a little different than I'm use to though. I'm still waiting for those downshifts when you give it gas, but they just don't come :)

Welcome aboard the Starship Patriot!

Yep, that CVT will take some getting used to (I still have my days with it...) but it will get better and you'll eventually love the shiftless feel when accelerating. Niiiice and smooooth.
It sounds like your Pat will be a nice cross-breed to the 2 other Jeeps you had. You just can't beat that!

Again, welcome aboard and we hope you enjoy everything we have to offer here.

Cheers:smiley_thumbs_up:
