never heard of eibach invalidating warranty....they make oe antiroll bars for mercedes and uprated springs for impreza sti etc etc.......thay are the best quality aftermarket springs you can buy....you may even find mopar springs are in eibach boxes......peugeot's are....

They should make liftkits for the Patriot.
Lowering is something for street and sportcars.

Just my 2 cents

Rends

I had Eibachs on my 1st neon and they were crap....completed screwed up my struts. I switched the Eibachs as soon as I could for the mopar lowering spring...MUCH better ride, handling and didnt mess up my struts! :)

I agree with Rends, why buy a Jeep if you have ideas about "lowering"??

BTW - Citroen has had built in lowering for decades.

Easier to lower than lift I guess. Still no clue why in hell anyone would want to lower a Pat, they sit low enough as it is.

Thats because Chrysler struts are notoriously crappy. Got Camber? I can see why people would lower a Pat. The pats stripped of their badge resembles a box. Even with its ride height, it still looks low to the ground compared the the rest of the class. Its like everyones infatuation with the XB. Its boxlike and people like to lower them, mod, etc.

I respect everyones opinions because that makes life fun, but you should sometimes widden your perspective. Just because it says "Jeep" on the front, doesnt mean its a trail bashing off road monster.

In regards to the springs, you are better off checking out the springs for the caliber, since it has been out longer, they seem to be cheaper, and fit the Patriot (from what ive researched).

Eibachs here have a lifetime warranty....don't know about the USA...i think that says something about quality.....only heard about problems if you go lower than 30mm...then you SHOULD fit shorter struts.
Eibach are the only springs that give axle weights in their application guide. for a car like golf 5 2004 on they list around 7 different sets of springs while others list 1 for petrol and 1 for diesel.

PS i would also never lower a 4x4...it sort of defeats the purpose..
