nope, mine was delivered July 28th, signed on the 29th. I ordered it the first day you could, and my first payment was due on August 15th. Remember my 2008 Patriot 24 hour review thread? I got hit, stopped and drove over 100 miles.... in a 24 hour period. My 12th payment wasn't actually due by August 15th, but I usually pay everything a month ahead...

Edit to say I love the new interior! Kinda ehh about my 08' now. I really want that dark interior trim and vynil, so I don't have those ugly scuff marks on the doors from the seatbelt..... can't wait to take a test drive!

if the carpet in teh rear is anything like that of the '08 caliber its stupid! its really, fine, thin, cheap carpet that isnt actual carpet, and that isnt a plastic floor anymore, almsot forcing you to buy the carpet or the rubber mat for the back...

I like the interior changes from what i can see, remember guys the liberty had round air vents too

I prefer to use my own cheap carpet layer I can throw away and replace when it gets soiled. I cut one to fit the week after I got my car. I noticed a big stain on it the other day. Time to throw it out and get new.

If it were an expensive factory carpet, I'd have to try to clean it. :D

I like the 07 08 vents, but they need an on off feature that works better than pointing all the fins down. They also need to be able to point up. I really like the shape of the original interior better.

WHAT!!! I was under the impression Diesel is less refined, and therefore you get more per barrel. Are you sure these numbers are right?

With the exception of some the soft touch additions, they should have just left the interior alone. What is this society's obsession with rounded edges?!? To be honest, the only thing I like a bit rounded are women....hence why all of these vehicles with curvy exteriors and interiors look feminine to me.

Wheezy MSRP is 995, plus you need the 225 cable.... $1,220 plus you need to re-do your bezel.

I think I'll stick to my Iphone.... 1,200 is a lot of $ when you put your CD's in and they come up 'playlist 1' when you can use the Iphone (or Itouch) and get a smaller display but the ability to flip through CD covers, and pick exactly what songs you want, and the new Iphone has GPS nav, and costs $200.

Yeah, not cheaper at all, in fact I would expect $500 or more over this year's model. I personally wouldn't get one until they do another awesome incentive (like the 2,500 they did for the 08') but then again, I already have a pat, that I ordered the first day you could, without pricing information either ;) This being said, If I didn't have one, I would probably order one today.

Thanks for the prices. I was definitely considering getting an iPhone until I saw Rogers' rates for Canada... Then I broke out in hysterical laughter and said no.

;)

Small thing but you know what I would like to see changed? I'd like the 60/40 bench seat to be flipped around, I guess I'd like it 40/60 that way you could fold down the front seat to carry something long and still carry 3 people. wouldn't that just make too much sense?

Alex, just to be clear, I am not ordering an 09' but I ordered my 08' when I didn't have pricing. I figured if it is to much, then I can just get my deposit back, and look at other vehicles.... but really I could afford the $300 over the 07' that it ended up being.

But... driving home today I realized.... there will never be interior mods for 07' and 08's.... they will be focused on 09's.... sucks.

I just ordered a Patriot on July 2nd. The dealer said that yes prices went up 2% from last year. The price I was told was about 18,800 before my supplier discount for a sport 4x4 with manual transmission and no options. Whatever rebates or discounts I get will depend on what is available when I pick it up in about 5 weeks.

That price is about 3.7% more than a 2008 with the same options, so maybe that 2% is an average or something. However, after my discount and before taxes, paying about 17,500 for a 4x4 with good mileage doesn't seem so bad to me. I was actually going to buy an 08, but he said the only way to get a stick on a 4x4 was to order it. Then he told me they stopped taking orders on 08 models, so it would be an 09. Works for me.

Don't think they'll be any less expensive, that's for sure.

Where I live in the USA the base price of an '08 4x4 Patriot Sport has risen $1,010 since April: from $17,225 to $17,545 to $18,235 since April 2008. I was shocked at the most recent price hike. Greedy IMO!

With these price hikes as well as an incongruous interior update and changes in option availability and option packages on the plate for 2009, Jeep's setting a course that may well eventually kill the goose that laid the golden egg; and if Chrysler/Jeep management kills the two-tone Pebble Beige VinylTek interior option and roll-up windows, I'm outta here. It's bad enough that they force AC on those of us who don't desire it, unlike in MY 2007.
