That Patriot appears to be the "nearly production-ready" show car which was introduced in Europe in 2005. The rack, which members of this forum have researched and determined not to be available to the public, is a tip-off. The real key is the silver bumper inserts - they extend all the way under the vehicle in the picture, just as they did on the show car. The production Patriot's inserts are on the bumpers only, with body-color paint below...
Yeah, that is the vehicle from the Frankfurt Auto Show.....actually, I think that vehicle looks a little more capable. But then, they always water down the concepts, don't they?
Oh well, I still think the true Patriot is awesome looking.
Hey they finally built the Jeep Dakar / Wrangler Unlimited 4-door. Only took a decade. Concept vs. production changes have to do more so with the ability to produce a large number of vehicles at a profit.
To the point: DCX will not make more than minimal changes to the Patriot in 08. It truly only went into volume production sometime in March based on the numbers. There is no need to.
Nice photos - but Mike got it... No changes for 2008 (major overhauls that is)
Also, most products run a 3 year life cycle before refreshing so I'd expect a 2010 model to be slightly tweaked if I were going to forecast any type of number to the world.
I hope so. My dealer still doesn't have one, and they are one of the bigger Jeep dealers in the state. (Lots of unsold compasses sitting on their lot tho.)
yeah i think that they meant 08' model as the 07' model,, but it sure does look awesome with that roof rack, hope some aftermarket brands start to make it!
Yes,I'll definitely mount couple of auxilliary lights on the front bumper.I hope I won't have much problem to attach the bracket to the bumper though,I believe it should be an easy job.
