You might have fried whatever module controls the fog's( BCM? )when you jumped it. The fact this happened after the battery died and you jumped it makes me think something got cooked. Hope not. Might be something as simple as the fog relay is stuck open?
Electrical problems are about the hardest there is to diagnose over the internet. Only sounds are harder.
How cold was it where you were last night? We had -10 degrees for the past few nights and several vehicles in my neighborhood died cause of a combination of old batteries and cold. Some plastic parts can. Become brittle if it's that cold and if there is an arc when jumping a car that said parts could break. I would check you fuse box under the hood for a damaged relay. Hope this helps.
The truck died from the light being on. The light didn't turn non when I tried jumping it. It was about 5 degrees or less last night. I brought it to the dealer and the we're swamped so I asked if they could just Un hook them for now until I go back
A also Have Aftermarket Fog lights. The truck is actually an old member eastbeach and he had out in fogs that have halos that can change all different colors
Eastbeach's patriot has an toggle switch. It has 3 buttons on it, it's where you control the led ring. The left button is ring color, middle is main power and the right button is fog light power on and off.
Aftermarket fogs run through a kit switch would have been nice info to have from the start. Most likely the switch failed. Also could be the relay that most likely came with the kit.
