Can't get a price on a Patriot

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback and helpful ideas for looking for what I want. All I've been using jeep.com but didn't think of autotrader.com or anything like that. :smiley_thumbs_up:

The security and conv. group just adds the Alarm, tire pressure and how many miles you have left correct? Plus a bunch of other misc. stuff like the universal remote right?

I guess I could do with out that and save a few bucks. That seems to be one of the only things holding me back at the moment. I did find a dealer about 30 miles away w/ the right color and 26E but no sound or tire package. I'm not trying to dummy it down but just thinking about needs vs wants at the moment.

I currently have a WRX and between running 93 octane and insurance on a sports car I'm dyin here hahaha. Insurance alone saves me $720+ a year plus less gas and better mileage!

Also, does anyone know how much Chrysler/Jeep finances? I heard from that dealer when I was there its only 125% of the MSRP of the new vehicle. Is that true? I ask cause I'm a bit upside down on my trade-in. Not the end of the world, just wondering thats all. I know Subaru will go like 150%. My credit is in the mid to upper 700s at the moment...*knock on wood* haha.

I financed through my credit union, so no help there. My bank would only allow up to MSRP, but thankfully I was not anywhere close to that amount.

[soap box]If you ar that much upside down on your current vehicle, I recommend getting some $2000 beater for a year to fix that situation. With most domestic vehicles, people are upside down with their best deal and no trade. You are looking to make you situation worse. Owing $25k on a Patriot that will be worth $15k in 3 months won't help.[/soap box]

I know what your saying I've been debating that too. I probably have to wait a few more months to bring it down. Just sucks that w/ the 09's there is gonna be no Steel Blue cause more then likely I'll have to end up going w/ that. Oh well, maybe I'll find an 08 at a better deal come late august or Sept. haha
