Anyone in the Mid-Atlantic, PA riot owners, got your ears on? interested in doing a Patriot trail run. I know a little spot, that will handle stock Pats considered to be a "GREEN" level trail. That means your stock Pat will handle this trail without any mods. Granted, I'm not so sure how the 4x2 Parts or the Compass guys would do.

The place: Green Ridge State Park, located just outside of Cumberland MD, right smack off of I-68. They got an 18 mile ORV trail for our Riots, and a plenty of camp sites for a Pat Party. Here's a link to the park http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands/western/greenridge.asp And here's the link to the trail map: http://www.dnr.state.md.us/outdooradventures/greenridge_ORVmap.pdf

No date set, just gaging interest. :Racing:

I'd be interested, but much of this year is already pretty booked for me with buying a house, getting married, and a few other small weekend getaways. The wife would murder me if I spent any more money on a Patriot adventure... Maybe if it's in the fall or early next year.

I didn't make a date or anything. I was wondering if people would be interested, and picking a trail that would not totally cripple non-heavy modded trucks, so at the very least I was thinking fall or spring next year due to time constraints on trying to organize something.

It's in Maryland. Looks to be about a 2 hour drive from Harrisburg, PA, 3 hours from Pittsburgh, PA, and 4 hours from Philadelphia, PA.

Also 2.5 hours from Washington DC for those south of there.

I would absolutely love to do this! I would be in for making a weekend (or at least a Saturday to Sunday overnight) out of it. Just some Pats, some friends, some beer (for after the driving), and some fun!

Seems like more Hell No. Guess not everyone is comfortable or secure in their Pats as the few of us who aid yes are.

From what I know of GR is it's a green level baby trail rated as a 2 or 3, on the scale. semi-glorified fire trail/access road.

It may be obvious from my pictures, but I go off-roading in the Patriot quite a bit. I'm a bit rougher on mine than a lot of you folks probably are on yours. I imagine I'll break it before I tone it down. Regardless though, I've forded a foot and a half of water (Above the bottom of the doors by a couple of inches), sloshed through a foot or more of mud, over rocks 6-10 inches out of the ground, and quite a bit of other things. The trail here, from what I can see, is pretty tame to what the Patriot can do. The 4x4 is unstoppable, as I've tested on a loose sandy beach, deep mud, water, etc etc.

Go for it guys! Here are a few pics of what my stock 4x4 Riot tamed in CO. No scratches, no dents and no brokens, just a lot of fun and great outdoors! You just have to drive accordingly. I watched the posted video and did not see anything a stock Riot couldn't handle. :pepper:
