You could try adding a large diameter pvc pipe. It's funny as the intake side of the snorkel is smaller than the inlet to the air box. I've been contemplating mocking something up with a non-temporary but non-damaging adhesive. Might just be better to remove the box, add a higher performance filter and a water resistant pre-filter and custom mount for ecu.

Well thats why I want somebody's stock snorkel, I would hate the look of some crap underneath my hood
