How much is the current rebate at? I know last month was at $2.5k however when my dealer did up the paperwork showing how much this will cost the rebate is marked as being $2k. I heard about it being 2,500 dollars today at work and I'm wondering if its true.

If you go to jeep.com, under the Shopping Tools menu, you can click on Current Incentives. You have to put in your zip code, because the discount depends on your location. Where do you live that it is $2500? Here in upstate NY, it is only $500.

My rebate was $2500 when I purchased my PAT 2 week ago. Looks like the rebate has come down, but some dealerships are doing a tax rebate check discount which triples your tax check. Its not for all the Jeeps but I seen Jeep Cherokees being offered with $5800 cash back. They must be desparate.
There has been at least $2500 for the last two months. First, it was VIN based, but all VIN's applied. Last month, I believe it was $500 officially, with another $2000 factory to dealer. This month, I have only seen the $2.99 gas card thing with no alternative lump sum cash.
